GranTurismo.
It was the first Maserati road car and 58 units were
produced. The car was met with acclaim amongst the
automotive press for its advanced technical content
and its avant-garde styling solutions.
Ten
years later Maserati presented its first standard
GranTurismo, the 3500 GT at the 1957 Geneva Motorshow:
this car transformed Maserati in a road car manufacturer,
and production of road going cars took priority over

1983 units of the 3500GT were produced.

this tradition, and to celebrate the 60th anniversary
of the A6, as well as the 50th anniversary of the
3500GT, Maserati unveiled its new coupé, the
Maserati GranTurismo at the 2007 Geneva Motorshow.

forces of Maserati and Pininfarina have once again
created a car that can excite and outperform the competition
in terms of its design, engineering, and its unique
and inimitable style.
The
new GranTurismo, continues Maserati’s range
renewal programme, which started with the presentation
of the Quattroporte Automatic at the 2007 Detroit
Motorshow .
The
new Maserati GranTurismo makes the most of the experience
gained from the Quattroporte in the luxury car segment,

made the Quattroporte a resounding worldwide success.
The new Maserati GranTurismo and the Maserati Quattroporte

• the carefully conceived choice of materials

• a full range of customisation options, so
